Most users don’t let other people access their files, except for ones that they have explicitly shared, but apps you have long forgotten about and never use any more might still have permission to access your data. Select Backups from the side menu drawer.In the interests of security it is best to limit the number of people and apps that have access to your Google Drive contents.Tap on the hamburger menu button in the top-left.
Launch the Google Drive app on your phone. Google only gives you the option to see what’s backed up and delete backups you don’t want. If you want to backup plenty of files or folders automatically, you can use the AutoSync app. All you have to do is open the app, and upload the file you want to backup. Storing images in “original” quality will affect your Google Drive storage space. If you want unlimited photo storage, choose high-quality photos (which will compress the images a bit). You can backup images in two quality options – Original and High Quality. Google Photos app comes preloaded with most Android phones.
Toggle on the Back up & Sync option and choose “ High Quality” as upload size. Tap the profile icon at the upper right corner. Open the Google Photos app on your Android phone.
